The choir stalls contain highly symbolic carved figures. They depict mythical creatures, some of which are reminiscent of the pictorial world of Hiernoymus Bosch.

Their messages were addressed to the canons, for example in the case of the “cock and donkey” figure, we are reminded of the saying “stupidity and pride grow on the same wood”.
